The world’s first multisensory restaurant combines fine dining with dark ride technology. Guests float through eleven themed worlds in MACK Rides’ patented ‘Floating Chair’ while enjoying an eight-course menu designed to appeal to all the senses. A blend of scents, tastes, visual effects, acoustics and haptics creates a unique culinary journey. A virtual hostess named Lina accompanies guests on this approximately two-hour journey, connecting the individual worlds into an interactive story.

MACK Animation produced the immersive media content for all of Eatrenalin’s themed worlds. The combination of LED screens and projections creates environments that blend seamlessly with the dining experience, such as the breathtaking view of Earth while dining on the Moon. Close technical collaboration with MACK Rides enabled the entire experience to be precisely choreographed, with the media content synchronised to the movements of the Floating Chairs, service and music. A new group of 16 guests starts every 27 minutes, requiring the highest level of precision in coordinating all elements. MACK Animation was involved from the outset, making this innovation possible by integrating new technologies.
