In the fifth 4D film produced by MACK Animation for Europa-Park, the Wünschmann monster family, known from the ‘Happy Family’ film series, embarks on a new adventure. The story ties in with the popular ‘Happy Family’ film series, also produced by MACK Animation, which has been shown in over 60 countries worldwide. In ‘Next Level’, Max presents his family with a homemade VR machine, but the demonstration does not go as planned: the entire family is transformed into monsters and pulled into a computer game. Only those who master all levels will find their way back to reality. To make matters worse, a fault in Baba Yaga’s magic amulet causes the game world to start falling apart.
Visually, the film innovatively combines animation and computer game elements. Directed by Waldemar Fast, it is an action-packed family adventure that meets the highest film standards and is complemented by a variety of appropriate 4D effects.
